Teraz możemy się już pochwalić, że Wraz z końcem roku dopięliśmy współpracę z wszystkimi samorządami Powiatu Tczewskiego.

Now we can boast that at the end of the year we have completed cooperation with all local governments of the Tczew Poviat.

Na koniec roku, oprócz wszystkich samorządów miast gospodarzy – Pelplina, Tczewa i Gniewu, nawiązaliśmy współpracę również ze Starostwem Powiatowym w Tczewie. Dzięki temu wszystkie samorządy zdecydowały się na współpracę z Pomorze Sprint Cup 2023.

Powiat tczewski jest wschodnią częścią województwa pomorskiego oraz wschodnią częścią Kociewia, drugiego obok Kaszub regionu Pomorza Gdańskiego. Obszar ten szczyci się bogatą kulturą i tradycją oraz wieloma ważnymi wydarzeniami historycznymi. Mieszkańcy Kociewia i powiatu tczewskiego mogą również poszczycić się ogromnym dorobkiem twórczym i własnym dialektem. Tczew jest największym i najstarszym miastem w regionie oraz jednym z najstarszych miast pomorskich, z ponad ośmiowieczną historią. Nie skromniejszą historią mogą się też pochwalić pozostałe 2 miasta powiatu tczewskiego – XIII-wieczne Pelplin i Gniew.

Od wielu lat w sierpniu Gniewu jest organizatorem „Vivat Vasa” - największego w Polsce widowiska historyczno-batalistycznego z udziałem husarii https://vivatvasa.pl/ Inscenizacja Bitwy pod Gniewem, znana również jako Bitwa Dwóch Wazów, odwzorowuje wielkie starcie pomiędzy siłami Rzeczypospolitej i Szwecji, które miało miejsce w dniach od 22 września do 1 października 1626 roku.

Podczas wspomnianej bitwy wojskami Polskimi dowodził Zygmunt III Waza, zaś na czele armii Szwedzkiej stał pochodzący z dynastii Wazów król Szwecji, Gustaw Adolf. Całe wydarzenie jest jednym z przykładów wyjątkowej roli jaką ziemie powiatu tczewskiego odgrywały w historii. Dziś powiat tczewski jest przede wszystkim bardzo ważnym ośrodkiem komunikacyjnym na trasie z Gdańska do Warszawy oraz z Trójmiasta na południe Europy.

At the end of the year, in addition to all local governments of the host cities - Pelplin, Tczew and Gniew, we also established cooperation with the District Office in Tczew. Thanks to this, all local governments decided to cooperate with the Pomorze Sprint Cup 2023.

The Tczew Poviat is the eastern part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the eastern part of Kociewie, the second region of Gdańsk Pomerania next to Kashubia. The area boasts a rich culture and tradition and many important historical events. The inhabitants of Kociewie and the Tczew poviat can also be proud of their great creative achievements and their own dialect. Tczew is the largest and oldest city in the region and one of the oldest  Pomeranian cities, with over eight centuries of history. The other 2 towns of the Tczew Poviat - the 13th-century Pelplin and Gniew - can boast no more modest history.

For many years, in August, Gniew has been the organizer of "Vivat Vasa" - the largest historical and battle spectacle in Poland with the participation of hussars https://vivatvasa.pl/ . The staging of the Battle of Gniew, also known as the Battle of the Two Vasas, reproduces the great clash between the Polish and Swedish armies that took place from September 22 to October 1, 1626.

During the aforementioned battle, the Polish army was commanded by Sigismund III Vasa, while the Swedish army was led by the Swedish king Gustav Adolf from the Vasa dynasty. The whole event is one of the examples of the unique role that the lands of the Tczew County played in history. Today, the Tczew poviat is primarily a very important communication center on the route from Gdańsk to Warsaw and from the Tri-City to the south of Europe.
