Etap III i IV / Stage III and IV / Stages III and IV – Kwidzyn

Gospodarzem III i IV etapu Pomorze Sprint Cup 2019 będzie Kwidzyn – 40 tysięczne miasto na południu województwa pomorskiego, o prawie 800-letniej historii, gdzie swoją siedzibę ma nasz klub.

The third and fourth stage of PSC 2019 will be hosted by Kwidzyn – a town with 40,000 inhabitants, situated in the south of Pomerania Province, with almost 800 years of history – where our club is based.

Największą atrakcją Kwidzyna są XIII-wieczna Katedra Kapituły Pomezańskiej i zamek krzyżacki z największym zachowanym w Europie gdaniskiem, czyli średniowieczną toaletą, tuż przy których na Placu Jana II zlokalizowane będzie centrum zawodów i meta III etapu. Terenem rywalizacji będzie centrum Kwidzyna, w mniej więcej równych częściach składającego się z osiedla o jednorodzinnej zabudowie, terenów wokół Zespołu Katedralno – Zamkowego i  osiedla bloków wielorodzinnych w otoczeniu dawnych murów obronnych Kwidzyna.  Meta i centrum zawodów ostatniego, IV etapu będzie stadion hippiczny na Terenach Rekreacyjno – Wypoczynkowych „Miłosna”.  Trasy wytyczone będą na terenie zabytkowej zabudowy osiedla „Miłosna”, po piaszczystym terenie stadionu do crossu konnego oraz w części parkowej lasu na północny – wschód od Miłosnej. Będzie to etap najbardziej zróżnicowany pod względem charakterystyki terenu.

The greatest attraction of Kwidzyn is the 13^th-century Cathedral of the Pomezanian Chapter and the Castle of the Teutonic Order with the largest preserved dansker (medieval toilet) in Europe. The competition centre and the finish line of Stage III will be located right next to it, at John Paul II Square. The contest will be held within the centre of Kwidzyn, in more or less equal parts in the nearby housing estate with single-family houses, the area around the Cathedral and Castle Complex, and the block-of-flats housing estate, surrounded by the former defensive walls of Kwidzyn. The finish line and the competition centre of Stage IV, the last one, will be located at the equestrian stadium of the Miłosna Recreation Area. The routes will be drawn along the historic buildings of Miłosna housing estate, the sandy area of the cross-country horse-riding stadium, and in the park part of the forest north-east of Miłosna. This stage will be the most diversified in terms of terrain forms.
